Elena Gilbert's Basic Natural Everyday Makeup

Here we are, as school begins ( or,for some, is soon going to) I'm  challenging myself into making the most natural make up for you to recreate and use everyday.

Of course there are mornings when we're literally running late for classes, and we surely don't have time for the whole smokey eye effect. What do we do?
Either we get to school with zombie eyes, or we follow these simple tips and get ready in less then 10 minutes!

First off, I need you guys to read the "normal" and daily Elena's makeup routine.
I guess it's my version to hers in season 2. The deep brown line, used to define the look (before the black liner application) is something they used on Nina during last season's shootings.

  Here goes.

What we're going to recreate is just the more natural version. You'd probably be wondering... "How?"
What makes the first look "dramatic" ( Katherine's way much more) is the brown deepening effect that we did right after having applied the lightest shade of brown in the crease.
 Let's take a look closely :

This is the step in which we're blending the lightest brown to define our crease and blend the whole smokey look altogether.
Make sure to blend the color in the outer part of your eye with a fluffy brush, never going out of the imaginary angle that we created.
If you bring the color out of your crease, the smokey effect will be completely ruined.

Right at this step things are going to change, a bit.

Now, instead of using this dark brown, you'll need to look carefully at your pallete.
Either you re-utilize our first shade of color, or you choose a slightly darker one.
Don't go with shades as dark as the picture. Or, if you do, apply it just tipping your brush in the color. Don't overdo.

 Blend, blend, blend.
The more you blend, the more it's going to look natural.

 This step is totally optional.
Remember we used the black liner to define the upper lash line?
Either you use a brown liner, or :
 -Take your angled brush
-Tip it into a very small amount of water
-Tip it into the dark brown eye shadow and draw a line along the upper lash line.

 - Curl your lashes and apply two coats of your favorite mascara and... you're good to go!
