I'm so glad to open this new section!

 Basically, it's going to be my personal picks on outfits and clothes inspired to Elena/Katherine/Nina :)
None of these things are bought online. I just put my fashion efforts in finding them in local stores, following as closely as possible what our gorgeous would wear in the show.

You'll see how easy can be to recreate this look, once you'll have gotten in your mind what you should go for!

note: I'm not here to brag or anything like that, I just want to show you guys how,once taken in as many tips and tricks as possible, I've been able to recreate and put together outfits suitable or almost exact to the ones worn by Nina in the show.

American Eagle Lace Trim Tank 

Elena Gilbert wears this American Eagle Lace Trim Tank on season 1 in multiple colors. She wears the teal/dark green in Ep. 1x3 "Friday Night Bites".And in navy blue .

 Elena also wears this tank in Black in Ep. 1x4 "Family Ties". Elena wears this in a Heather Brown color in Ep. 1x7 "Haunted" .

 

My review:
 Even though I've still only  worn the green one, I've tried the others on, and they look great.
I'm waiting for my summer scolarship to Spain to finally use them, and I'm so freaking dying to wear them! Can't wait!
The best thing ever is that Nina is from Bulgaria, which is in Eastern Europe. And I'm Southern Italian, making us neighbors .You know Eastern girls mostly have large hips and small waists? Well, yep. Sometimes it can be frustrating, but when I found out Nina had this "trademark" just as mine and many other girls out there, I finally found my personal style icon to follow!
 I could defintely never pick up clothes from Kristen Stewart's closet!

P.S: The colors are exactly the same, my camera and the light of the room changed it a bit, though!

So, YES! This is a good item and enhances the natural shape of the body, fitting quite tight.

 BDG Zip Up Cardigan 

My review:
 This cardigan/sweatshirt is so comfy and girly, it can still be worn and paired with a casual outfit ( not forcefully sweatpants!). I usually recreate the same look in the picture above (episode "Katerina") , wearing black skinny jeans or leggings and either boots or grey Converse!

 Definetely YES!

Guess Lorelai Trench Coat

Elena was spotted wearing Katherine's Guess? Lorelai Trench Coat on episode 2x17, "Know Thy Enemy", of "The Vampire Diaries" when Isobel switched the two's clothes!

 

My review:
Definetely my favourite trench / coat ever.
 It's so Katherine-esque, and yet can be styled with so many choices from your closet!

I love the button details on this: looking closely, you'll realize it's alterated golden and silver, and each button is different from the other. :)

I would either wear a bright blue tank (which will be shown later on this page) or whatever suits my mood that day!
  Thanks to this item, I can both recreate Katherine's or Elena's look! ( For the badass style, I'd surely pair black super skinny jeans, like in the picture. To get more plain, and less flashy, I'd wear normal jeans!)

 Obviously, the shoes choice is vast : flats, Chuck Taylor, Converse... and how could I forget Kat's beloved ankle boots? :)

YES! Although I wish it was warmer! That way I wouldn't have to layer any more than Elena already does! LOL

Victoria's Secret Camisole 

Elena wears the pink version of this cami on "Plan B" (season 2, episode 6) and the gray version on "The Sacrifice" (season 2, episode 10) of "The Vampire Diaries".

 My review:
Believe me when I tell you you'll find plenty of clothes you've never thought of wearing, but that observed closely are just like Elena's!
  I found this camisole yesterday night, while I was deciding what to pack in my suitcase. And, when I begin boning up into my closet... well, you could think I was kidnapped from some dark force coming from Narnia !

 This cute cami was filled with rhinestones, and it just seemed a piece of cloth to throw in the bucket but.. then the fashion fairy popped out and suggested it was just a great replica to the one Elena owns!
 That's what I got when,one hour later, I finally managed to remove the sparkling fastidious things!

YES 80% It's laced, and a bit transparent. Surely not to wear to hang out with friends. It could either be paired with cardigans and long sleeved jerseys , or simply as a PJ !





H&M 3/4 Sleeved V-Neck Top

Elena Gilbert was spotted wearing H&M 3/4 sleeved V-Neck Top on an episode of "The Vampire Diaries".

 

 

 

 
 


My review: 

It can be paired with a laced cami, a blazer or the usual black leather jacket, depending on the season !
  This is one of the items that you would never think as "cool" if seen by itself.
 But paired, and fashionably layered, it will recall everybody's attentions! Your tastes in fashion will soon be followed and admired,believe me!

 This is one of the good things : you can switch style simply by the accessories and the shoes!
 In the episode, Elena wore flares... But, truth saying, I don't particulary like that kind of jeans.

So, either I'd wear normal jeans or my super skinny black jeans(here we go with the Katherine swap of roles!)! I've also worn this item with black leggings, and it looked 100% Elen-ish !

 YES! Super approved!

Guess Brittney Knit Pants

Elena Gilbert wears these jeans on 3x10, "The New Deal" of "The Vampire Diaries". 

 

My review: 
 I love love love these.
Elena has them in the colors of black and dark blue.
  Mine are in black.
It's one of my favorite items in my closet, 'cause I can pair these with anything and although they're skinny, they feel super comfy!

  And when I wear black ankle boots?
Katherine comes in to play!

 They're great both for the day and for nights out, depending on what you pair them with! :)

 Ten times YES!  Definetely worth the buying!



Guess Nicole Tank

Elena Gilbert wore this Guess? Nicole Tank (in Blue) on an episode of "The Vampire Diaries", season 3, episode 2 - "The Hybrid".

 

My review:
 The color is so flashy yet so deep, and paired with any dark jeans/shorts and simple accessories, it will look like you've spent hours trying to put it all together!

 My tip on this is to play a lot with the make up, especially if you have fair eyes. Go wild with dark browns and blacks!

Rue 21 Thermal 

Elena Gilbert was spotted wearing this thermal in season 2 of "The Vampire Diaries". She wore it on episode 7, "Masquerade" and episode 8, "Rose" (in pink), and also episode 15 (in what appears to be gray or slate blue).

 

 My review:

 The jersey is actually in the same color of the original, the picture shows it somehow darker, though.

  I ador the material, so soft and smooth!

Free People Engeneered Crochet Tank 

Katherine Pierce was spotted wearing the Free People Engineered Crochet Tank on 3x05, "The Reckoning", of "The Vampire Diaries".

 

 

My review: 
 Oh,well.
There's a lot I could say about this item. I completly love this lacy tank, it's become my obsession latey!
Paired either with a purple tank ( just like Katherine {Nina} did in the episode) , or with an electric blue tank top, it's the best thing ever!

 Only Flaw: The material is very delicate, and I have to be careful when I'm wearing bracelets, rings or necklaces, 'cause it would take nothing for the lace to unthread and get ruined.

 Pair this whole look with a leather jaket,skinny black jeans and ankle boots. Just,plain perfection!

 YES YES YES !



H&M Rouched Cami 

Both Elena and Katherine wear this cami throughout the whole second and third season of "The Vampire Diaries" .

My review:
This top is so freaking cute! Being simple, it can be paired and accessorized with anything!
  It's pretty short,though. And yet- I need to say- it's somehow an advantage! In fact, it enhances the slimness of the waist, wrapping around the shape in a very elegant way!


YES 90%! Wish it was a tiny bit longer, though!






KRMA Leather Jacket

Both Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce were spotted wearing this item in season 1,2 and 3 of "The Vampire Diaries".

My review:

Such a wise man, that chap!

 Nope, but seriously! This item has become my obsession last fall!
 I bought it at a shop here in Italy, Pimkie.
When I saw it I literally threw myself on it and held it until I went to check! LOL

 I've worn this  quite a lot, but it hasn't ruined a bit. Both cause I was super careful, and because I guess it's been made with good cloths.
 It's not a KRMA, of course.
But it's basically identical. To get the ruffled arms effect, I just gather the material at about my forearm :)

 See? Just wander around in shops, and you'll get what you're looking for.. at the end of the day, and when you less expect it! *Dreamy eyes* The beauty of shopping...


 YES ! BEST item of my Elena closet!



 Dark Red Cardigan

Who hasn't re-watched the third (or maybe even the previous two) season during the eternal wait (and we still have a month left, guys. Sadly, October 11th never seemed so distant. )... Should raise his hand now!

 Anyway. While at the 3x18 love promises and possible betrayals were spoken aloud... Look at what my eye caught up.

Oh, well. I was like. "I've seen that cardigan somewhere else. " , I opened my closet and.. there it was! And the *Proud-of-myself-brat-grin*  appears!

This item is super warm and incredibly soft! Plus, this opaque red is going to be a big trend this fall, it's a win win, right?

 YES! Super basic and so in with this fall's fad! 

White Lacy Tank Top

 This is a must in Elena's closet.  It's white( a neutral color), it's a tank top and mostly... it's lacy!
This was a discover made purely randomly. I didn't know I had this item up untill I saw it on her.

 There it goes, it's from the same episode of the item above (3x18) .

And here's my interpretation of it:

P.s. : I don't know why, but my camera gave a creamy color to the lace of the tank. It's completely white, actually.

 This is really comfy and can be paired with almost anything! It can be shown off entirely in summer, but you can still see the lacy trim in winter, when it's gonna be worn under maybe a blue jersey!

YES!  The good thing of this is that has been in my wardrobe for a very long time. LOL. So, thanks, Elena Gilbert! 








Deep Brown button- up Cardigan

   Sure enough, this was one of my favorite episodes ever.
Remember the "We kissed, now it's weird" scene?
 Oh,well.

Let's freshen up our memory!

While watching it, my friend made me notice I'd worn basically the same cardigan she's wearing, the day before.
  This time my "thanks" goes to my dear M. !

YES 90% !  I wish it was warmer! I guess I'm going to get one for winter time! Although this is great for the back to school! :)


Red Ruffled Top

Oh, gosh.
 This item is one of my favorites.
Actually, it used to be my mother's. But then, of course, I stole it.
 Isn't it almost identical to Nina's?
Love love love it. The effect you get when you pair this with the black leather jacket, is so freaking unique and gorgeous.

 I'm so excited , and can't wait to wear it for my back to school ! I know it can be eccentric, but.. c'mon guys. We love fashion. We shouldn't care about other's opinions now, should we?
